At Shining Mountains Lutheran Church, you can expect to hear the good news of what Jesus has done to save us from our sins.
We believe that the Bible is God’s Word and tells us everything we need to know for salvation. God tells us in his Word that “all have sinned” and the “wages of sin is death.” But he also tells us that the “gift of God is eternal life through faith in Christ Jesus.”
God’s Word announces the good news that Jesus has “taken away the sins of the world” by his death on the cross; and so we know that our sins and yours are included.
In his Word God invites us to “believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved.” “For it is by grace you have been saved.”
