Long ago, a king named David wrote, “O LORD, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth! You have set your glory above the heavens… When I consider your heavens, the work of your fingers, the moon and the stars, which you have set in place, what is man that you are mindful of him, the son of man that you care for him?”
It isn’t hard to see why David was blown away by the beauty of God’s creation. Living in Bozeman, we aren’t strangers to words like majesty
. They come to mind every time we look out the window.
But David touched on something that’s still true for us. If all we see is the majesty of nature, we’re missing something. What amazed David was knowing that the God who created everything we see was actually interested in him. The Lord wanted a relationship with him.
We all need that. We all need a place where we can come and hear the news of the Lord who didn’t simply create the world, but cares for us. We need a place where we can be surrounded by people who will encourage us in that truth.
There’s a place for you at Shining Mountains. Our congregation is moved by God’s love for us in Christ Jesus, and look forward to welcoming you and sharing that message with you. Come join us for worship or study, and rejoice in the love of the God who cares for you.
